Puerto Vallarta International Airport conducts large-scale bomb and gasoline storage facility fire drill

In compliance with International Organization of Civil Aviation (OACI) norms and in accordance with the Airport Law and Part 7 of the Airport Services Manual regarding Emergency Planning, the Puerto Vallarta International Airport today conducted a large-scale bomb and gasoline storage facility fire drill.

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico announces restriction on use of U.S. Dollars at its Airports

Guadalajara, Jalisco – September 3, 2010


Due to new Federal Government regulations regarding the use of U.S. Dollars (cash), as of September 11, 2010, Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico will no longer accept U.S. Dollars (cash) for parking services, aeronautical operations and Executive Aircraft services at its airports.  In addition, the airports will continue to receive payments in local currency (Mexican Pesos) and via credit card as has regularly been the case.

 

On June 16, 2010 the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit published an update to the General Rules, which refers to Article 115 of the Credit Institutions Law, modifying in limited practice dollar transactions in cash.
