La Paz

La Paz International Airport or Manuel Márquez de León International Airport (código IATA: LAP, código OACI: MMLP), is one of the most important in Mexico and serves the state of Baja California Sur, is located at 11 km southwest of La Paz. It has a terminal for commercial aviation of 5.180 square on two floors.

 

To attention of passengers in the documentation, there are on the ground floor, 17 check-in documentations and a band of baggage claim.

 

The last area waiting rooms has three exit doors. The baggage claim hall has a luggage conveyor belt.  

In addition to domestic flights to major parts of the country,it has some international flights mainly to Los Angeles. About 546 000 passengers transited the in 2011. The airport was named Manuel Marquez de Leon, a political, military and native Mexican thinker of this state.
